Job Search

In this program, your students will be searching for their first full-time job. To make their job search successful, they will need an outstanding resume and cover letter that gets the employer’s attention and gets them an interview. And if they get an interview, they will have to convince the employer that they are the right person for the job.

In part one, students are asked 20 questions concerning the structure, style and use of a resume. They will get three chances to answer enough questions correctly to get their resume right and move on to their cover letter.

In part two, students will be asked 10 questions concerning the elements, structure and use of a cover letter. They will get three chances to answer enough questions correctly to get their cover letter right and be invited to an interview.

In part three, students must go through a series of three interviews successfully in order to be offered a job. In each interview, they will be asked 10 questions. If they answer enough questions appropriately in each interview, they will be invited to the next round. And if they make it through all three rounds – they’re hired!
